In this game you can either follow the choices Victor Frankenstein made in Marry Shelly's novel or you can make your own choices! Keep in mind that there is no wrong choice, you are playing as Frankenstein so you get to decide which path you follow! There are 9 different endings you can reach in this story, see if you can find them all! [[introduction]] As you prepare for your journey to university, a horrible event befalls you. Your mother, a kind and passionate woman, sadly died to the scarlet fever. Your Elizabeth was the first one to catch this illness and it was when your mother was nursing Elizabeth back to health when she fell ill and died. Although you were so saddened by this loss it delayed your preparations for university, you still decided to study. You were offered a wide array of fields to study upon arrival and you needed to take some time to consider the path your future life would take. What do you decide to study in school? [[I want to study biology.]] [[I want to study astronomy.]] Following the ambitions of your younger self, you decide that you will follow the path of natural philosophy. You met Mr. Krempe and Mr. Waldman, two professors who (although they had vastly different approaches to the subject) helped you greatly in finding and pursuing your interests in chemistry and the human form. You were taken by a great ambition to study the causes of life and in order to do that you needed to examine death before. In order to do this you partook in many scientific trials that would be looked down upon as rather vulgar by the ordinary man. As you continued your studies, you came across the secret to life you had been looking for. With this discovery came the power to create life, to create a human. Will you use this newfound knowledge to attempt the creation a being like yourself? [[Yes. I will try to bring life to a human form.]] [[No. I will start smaller.]]You chose to study astronomy at the university of Ingolstadt, a surprise to both your parents and yourself. Although this change of field was not expected, it was quite rewarding. In your years studying at the school and your years researching outside of school, your ambition for your work led you to make many great contributions to your selected field. After many years of devoting yourself to your studies you married Elizabeth and had three beautiful children. You lived a fulfilling life. [[The end. #1]] Your name is Victor Frankenstein. You were born in Geneva to a distinguished family. Your immediate family consisted of your mother, father, an adopted sister, and two brothers, all of whom you lived with. Your adopted sister Elizabeth, who you refer to as a cousin, is especially important to you. Your first encountered Elizabeth while she was in the custody of two poor peasants, trying their best to feed and clothe many children. Your mother immediately felt a connection with the child who spread happiness wherever she was. When the trip came to its end you found that Elizabeth had been taken in by your family. You and Elizabeth were very fond of each other and loved each other dearly. Henry Clerval was your one dear friend while growing up in Geneva. He was an adventurous boy, the same age as you, who shared your ambitious nature and found great interest in the stories of heroic figures. As a child you were a curious child who had a passion for learning and a curiosity for science which carried over into your later years. Because of this, your parents believed it to be the right choice to send you to university. [[Prepare for university.]] ''GOOD ENDING'' You cant help but think things could've gone much worse...''DEATH ENDING'' At least you died protecting your dear Elizabeth. You just wish that your death is enough to satisfy the murderous thirst of the monster. You were so absorbed by pride in your accomplishments that you failed to properly take in the creatures features. It's skin that just barely connected by the thread you used to keep it in place, and it's pupils could not be distinguished from the whites of its eye but you did not care. You did not look at the finished product but it's individual parts. You saw how amazing it was that the muscles were functional and it's eyes were opened. However, the longer you looked at it the more the initial awe you felt upon seeing your creation wore off and the more horror began to set in. You quickly went into the other room and took a cloak which you dressed the creature with in order to obstruct most of his unsightly features from your view. You told yourself that you would get used to the strange frame of your creature the longer you studied it. The creature hadn't done much yet besides stand around so you decided it would be safe to sleep for the night. While resting the creature came through the door and into the room which gave you quite a fright. You attempted to communicate with it but the only sounds it could make were groans. Sleeping did not seem to be a possibility for you that night so you stayed awake studying the creature until the following morning. It took time to get used to the presence of this strange creature in your lab but eventually you got used to him. You gave your creature a name and began to teach him human language and mannerisms. You believe that despite the appearance of your creature, you would be able to make him into a real human. [[The end. #7]]You spend many months toiling away as you work on perfecting your creation. You pick out all of its separate limbs and attributes in hope of creating something that will shatter the bounds of natural philosophy. You spend day and night in your laboratory devoted to the singular task of bringing life to your creation. You become so caught up in your work that the urge to write to your family escapes you and they are left without word from you for months. Soon you began prioritizing your ambition over necessary tasks, such as sleeping, and you begin to experience fevers during the night and constant anxiety and nervousness. You continued in this state until one night when you finally accomplished your goal. The previously lifeless form that you had created suddenly burst into life as its eye opened and it's breath started up. Your two years of hard work led up to this moment. As you lay your eyes on the thing you created you think to yourself about how the form you just created is... [[disgusting.]] [[beautiful.]]Although your ambition tells you that you should be working on a larger creation, you decide that the most logical approach to your discovery would be to start small. You tell yourself that after you succeed in the first experiment, which you have complete confidence in, you will move on to something as complex as a man. Your first subject small animal that will be simple enough to replicate but large enough to be a project worth the time and trouble. You choose to create a dog. You spend many months toiling away as you work on perfecting your creation. You pick out its separate limbs and attributes in hope of creating an animal that will shatter the bounds of natural philosophy. You spend day and night in your laboratory devoted to the singular task of bringing life to your dog. The previously lifeless form that you had created suddenly burst into life as its eyes opened and it's chest began moving. Your two years of hard work led up to this moment. [[You lay your eyes on what you just created.]]''FRANKENWEENIE ENDING'' Just like the movie! Except you and the dog were not friends...The monster you created haunted your dreams that night. You attempted to escape it by sleeping, but the image of its miserable form was imprinted in your mind. It had yellow skin and watery eyes and looked the opposite of anything you would've hoped would result from the experiment. You had a chilling nightmare in which you saw your Elizabeth but while your kissed her she turned into the corpse of your dead mother. As if that wasn't enough, the monster you created interrupted this nightmare by managing to get into your room through the window. You fled the room out of flight and spend the night in the courtyard. In the morning while walking around the city in fear of the monster, you came across Clerval, your good friend. Although the distress you were feeling was immense, he managed to make you forget your situation by filling your head with thoughts of your family and brought you some joy. As you spoke to him, he realized that you were not doing well and you were in fact feeling very ill. You had a type of nervous fever that possessed you for many months. During this time you tried to forget about the past events with the help of your friend and slowly recovered. [[Continue.]]As your illness was coming to a close, you received a letter from Elizabeth, requesting that you visit her in Geneva once you recover. In the letter she details the state of life. Your father and little brother William are both happy and in good health, the landscape is as beautiful as ever, and there is even some gossip regarding one of your servants Justine and her unkind mother. She concluded the letter with a plea that you at least write back. You immediately do so with a letter promising her you would visit soon. However, your first duty was to repay Henry for the extensive kindness and hospitality he showed you while you were ill. Henry was interested in literature and was studying Eastern languages at university so you decided to introduce him to your professors. This period of time in which you spent with Clerval were able to lift your spirits and became treasured moments to you. You continued to spend your days with Henry, waiting for the letter from home which would set the date for when you leave Inglostadt. It was a Sunday in the month of May when you finally received this letter. [[Read the letter.]]As you read the letter the words on the page your expression of happiness turns to one of despair. Your darling little brother William had been murdered. your father found his corpse was outside the house laying on the grass with the fingerprints of the killer around the young child's neck. This death was a great shock to Elizabeth, and she was in extreme pain over not being able to protect her cousin. At the end of the letter your father called on you to return home quickly in order to console Elizabeth. You began to weep as you finished the letter and Henry wept for you as well. You quickly said goodbye to your friend and went on your way back to your hometown. The journey became nostalgic for you as you began to see familiar scenery once you grew closer to your destination. However the familiar landscape only brought back feelings of grief and sadness. As you were walking on a gloomy path towards the scene of William's murder you witnessed a horrific sighting. Behind one a cluster of trees in the distance you saw a figure illuminated by the lighting. The inhuman proportions of the figure could belong no other but the monster you had created nearly two years ago. You then realized who was the murderer of William. The monster escaped you before you could even move, and disappeared over the summit of Mont Salêve. [[Rest for the night.]]The rest of the night was spent agonizing over the truth you had reached. The next morning you entered the house of your father for the first time in six years. Your brother Ernest was the first you encountered as he approached you with tears in his eye. He told you of the grief Elizabeth was experiencing without you by her side and that the murderer had been discovered. Justine Moritz, one of the kind servants of your family, had been convicted of this crime solely because she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. You knew this conviction was false because the real killer was the disgusting monster who you saw disappear over the hill the previous night. Your father then entered the room, clearly distressed over the loss of his son but still glad to see you again. Your father repeats what your brother said about the conviction against Justine. [[Tell your father about the monster.]] [[Trust that she will be proven innocent.]]You reluctantly tell your father about your occupation for the past years and the monster you had let into this world. At first, he didn't believe you but as you continued with the story it became more apparent to him that you were telling the truth. When you finished he told you he knew how difficult it was for you to carry the burden of your creation's crimes. He almost immediately went to the magistrate to give him the new information to the murder case. Justine's trial went smoothly, and she was not convicted of the murder because of the uncertain evidence and possibility of the monster being the true murderer. As you continued your stay in your hometown everyone was on high alert. Word had spread that there was a terrible monster roaming around so it was unlikely you would cross somebody without a weapon. One day a few weeks after the trial you heard the news that the monster had been shot down. You quickly went to the scene and found out that it was true, a young man who was sightseeing along the mountains with his family had seen a large figure in the distance. This man had heard a lot about the monster, so he took his chances and shot at it. You were very grateful the murderer of William had been killed and that the situation hadn't escalated any further. [[The end. #8]]You were convinced that Justine had not committed murder so you trusted that there would be no evidence possible to convict her of the crime. Unfortunately, the circumstantial evidence which you had believed would not be substantial was the evidence which sentenced poor Justine to death. You and Elizabeth visited her Justine in her prison cell before it was too late. Justine admitted to confessing to the murder, but she only did this in order to relieve herself of guilt. The final moments in the jail cell with Justine were heartbreaking. You couldn't stand to see Elizabeth weep over the soon death of the woman she loved like a sister and you blamed yourself for this. After all, it was your miserable creature who caused Justine to be falsely accused. After exchanging farewells you and Elizabeth left the innocent girl to die. The next morning Justine died. Although you did not even witness their deaths, you were the true murderer of Justine Moritz and William Frankenstein. The thoughts of your murder plagued your mind and you fell into a state of agony and depression. To relieve yourself you often exercised by doing various activities such as taking a boat ride. On one of these occasions you decided to take a small trip to the valley of Chamounix. [[Head to the valley.]]Your journey took you through multiple destinations in which you spent your childhood in. As you set your eyes on the ravine of Arve, the bridge of Pélissier, and the valley of Chamounix you couldn't help but feel distracted from your current woes and feel at peace. You continued on this way during the days of your journey and for your final destination you decided to travel to the summit of the mountain Montanvert. The winding path up the mountain was difficult to traverse at times, but at last you made it to the top. You felt a sense of serenity as you were able gazed out upon the surrounding mountains and sea of ice beneath you. After a while on the summit, you descended and reached a rocky area in between the mountain you had just ascended and Mont Blanc. For the first time since you arrived in Geneva you felt joy again. That is, until you beheld a figure of a man in the distance. The figure bounded towards you and you came to recognize it as the wretched monster you had created. You attempted to lunge at the monster in order to enact your vengeance upon him, but he eluded your grasp. The monster spoke to you for a first time but you could barley put together the words because of your blinding rage. You refuse his request but the monster asks you again to listen to its tale. He tells you that he only wants your compassion for he is a miserable creature. You weigh the options and decide it would only make sense to [[listen to its story.]]You allow the monster to tell you his story. He tells you that when he first was created he could barley do so much as tell his various senses apart. As he began to make sense of the world after he left your laboratory he sought out the necessities such as food shelter in the neighboring forest. The first human he saw was a peasant who fled his small hut at the sight of the monster. He later arrived at a village where the people there fled at the sight of him and attacked him with their weapons. This was his first impression of mankind, one of violence and aggression. Your monster continued to wander in search of shelter over the course of many days until he found a cottage with a tiny hovel which he resided in. He told the story of this small cottage as if he was a member of the family living in it. He knew the names of the cottagers who lived there and cared for and watched over them for the years he stayed there. His existence was not a happy one though. He was weighed down with questions such as what was he and how did he come into creation. He wanted to know why those he encountered treated him with agression, but he did not find his answer. Instead of uselessly pondering these questions, he devoted his days to watching the cottagers through a hole in the wooden wall and learning all that he could from them. He learned many things through this method such as how to speak and some of the countries' history. Most of all, he learned the importance of family and love, two things which he had never known. Because of this, he loved the cottagers and looked upon them as beautiful, superior beings. [[Continue listening.]]One day the monster became tired of loving the cottagers from afar and wished to become a part of their lives. He determined to convince them that he was not a monster through his kind words and actions. When all the cottagers went out except for the blind grandfather, he approached the old man and told him he was a traveler from afar. He told the man that he was traveling to meet family who would cast him out once they saw him and the old man comforted him unknowingly. The monster had just told the old man that he was in fact the "family" he was traveling to when the rest of the cottagers came through the door. Once they witnessed his appearance they had the same reaction the villagers of the past had, aggression and fear. The monster escaped the cottage and cursed his creator for his existence. He despaired that the family he loved so dearly showed towards him nothing but disgust and for the first time felt feeling of hatred and revenge. He then left his former home in flames and started to travel in your direction which he was able to find by reading your lab notes. The two-month-long journey was grueling for him, but he eventually reached Geneva. It was there that he encountered and upon hearing his surname which the creature recognized as his creators, he was overcome by the desire to hurt who brought him into the world and left William dead. This was the conclusion of his story. [[The monster ends his story.]]As the story comes to a close the monster tells you his single request from you, he wants you to create a female being who shared his form to serve as his companion. Your instant reaction was immediate refusal, you would not create a miserable monster just like the one who murdered William and Justine! The monster was not satisfied with this answer but instead of responding with violence he resolved to reason with you. He told you that he only resorted to his violent crime because he was lonely and without love and asked you why he didn't deserve pity but other men did. His only request from you was for you to make him happy. Once you did that he would retreat to desolate lands in South America with the female creature and never interact with mankind again. You were moved by the emotions he expressed and the duties you believed the creator had to please the creation but you also kept in mind the consequences creating such a being would cause. [[Agree to create the female monster.]] [[Deny the monster's request.]]Although the task of creating another like the one who had harmed you so greatly was painful to embark on, you decided that it would be the most logical decision. You spent a few weeks stalling in Geneva before starting your work once again and in this time it was that your father confessed to his hopes for the marriage between you and Elizabeth. You reassure him that you are in love with Elizabeth and hope to marry her but you can only do so after you complete a certain task abroad. After you leave Geneva, you first travel with Clerval to London to gather information the scholars there so you can carry out your task. You spend your first months in London sightseeing with Henry. You spent months there but then continued on to multiple destinations such as, Oxford and Edinburgh, the lakes of Cumberland and Westmorland, and Cumberland and Westmorland. This exciting journey had a harsh end when you said your goodbyes to your dear friend and settled down and set up your laboratory in remote huts in Scotland. It was there where you began your labor on the second monster. The work you needed to do was horrible and filthy but you continued on. You spent your days anxious and fearing the appearance of the monster who would demand your loathsome work to be finished. It was an evening when the day came for the monster to appear before you again. You witnessed his malicious grin from a distance and resolved to... [[tear apart your progress on the female.]] [[continue your work.]]You deny the monsters request. You could never begin work again on a creature as cruel as he who killed William and Justine! The monster was enraged by your denial and swore to you that he would take everything from you in order to enact his revenge. The worst thing he told you was that he would be with you on your wedding night. It is such a horrible thing to take one's life on the day of their marriage, the happiest day of their life. Your fears were cemented when you got back to Geneva and your father asked you if you were going to marry Elizabeth soon. You knew that he had plans for your marriage ever since you and Elizabeth were young but at that moment it felt like the last thing you wanted to do. However you told him that you would marry Elizabeth because you wanted your inevitable death to be spent married to her. As the day of your union approached you became more and more anxious to the point where Elizabeth noticed your discomfort and tried to comfort you. You reassured her that you were alright but both her and you could tell that was not the truth. [[The day of your marriage.]] (set: $decisive to 1)The ghoulish grin of the murderer reminded you of what you were really creating. You thought of the possibility of a generation of monsters that could leave South America and would inflict pain on humanity for years to come. You promised yourself you would never continue your work on this second monster and spent hours dreading the monster's decent to your hut. When he arrived you told him that you would not create another wicked being like himself. He tried to convince you otherwise but when he realized you wouldn't budge, he left with a swear of revenge against you and everyone you loved. As he departed on his small boat, his promise to be with you on your wedding night echoed in your head. You arose the next morning ready to depart as well so you deposited of your scientific instruments into the ocean and set sail on your small boat. In this manner you traveled for hours until you spotted a small town in the distance. [[Head towards the town for provisions.]] [[Waste no time making an extra stop.]] The grin of the monster from afar struck fear into your heart as you were working on the female. You felt the urge to stop working entirely but you knew that there would be drastic consequences for you and those you love if you disobeyed the monsters wishes. A little while later you heard a knock on the door and opened it to find the monster's awful figure looming over you. He seemed to only want an update on the progress you have made on the female so you reluctantly told him that all was going smoothly. He then exited your laboratory and you were left to complete your work in silence. The process of this work took many painful months. Each day you worked on the monster filled you with disgust towards the work that your own hands had done. This feeling never disappeared but it became less intense the more you worked. Eventually one of your attempts to bring the monster to life had succeeded and you witnessed the worst day of your life again. The monsters eyes slowly opened and it stood up on its two legs. You had made sure to lock all exits before this experiment so the monster had nowhere to go but to stand still. You watched the monster in horror as it stood still in the center of the laboratory. Eventually the original monster took notice of your newest creation and came down and opened the door to your lab to claim the female monster. Before he took the female monster you made him repeat his promises to stay away from human society that he had made. After he did this you watched the two horrible creatures run off inhumanly fast and disappear in the nearby mountains. [[The end. #5]]You expected to be welcomed by the fellow English speaking men of the town but were instead greeted with scowls and harsh glares. At first, you were very confused by the nature of these townspeople, but they soon inform you that they believe you were guilty of a recent murder that occurred in your town. You were then brought to the magistrate to give your account of the murder. You found out that townspeople had reported seeing a man in a boat coming from the direction the dead body was found, strangled to death. You did not react well to this information due to your familiarity with strangulation, which the magistrate noticed and held against you. It was then suggested that you see the body so the magistrate could observe your reaction. As the body was unveiled for you to see, horror took over you as you recognized the corpse of that of your friend Henry Clerval. For the two months you resided in the town's prison your days were a blur. You were fell very ill due to the great misfortune you had experienced and found that there was a doctor by your side who was meant to attend to you. You were also informed of the kindness that magistrate had shown you because he felt pity for your condition. In your two-month state of madness you often rambled about how you were the true killer of William, Justine, and Clerval and the magistrate took pity in you and believed you were not the real killer. One day your father arrived at the prison to visit you, telling you that the rest of your family is alright and you were allowed to leave the prison. [[Travel to Geneva.]] (set: $henryClerval to 0) (set: $decisive to 0)You desperately needed rest but you were too occupied with getting to Geneva quickly you couldn't make a stop in the town. The thought of the monster arriving at your father's house before you did terrorize you. Along the way of your journey to your fathers house you received a letter from Elizabeth. Elizabeth wrote that due to the horrible conditions you have experienced and the state of suffering you have been in for some time, she doesn't know whether you love her or not anymore. She knows that your parents want you and her to get married and that she too wants to get married, but she wants to know if you want to. You wrote to Elizabeth ensuring her that you would like to be married but also that you had a secret which you would only reveal to her after your union. You remember the monsters promise to be with you on your wedding night. It took many difficult weeks until you arrived in Geneva but preparations immediately began for your marriage ceremony once you arrived. You tried to conceal the fear which you felt for the wedding day because of the promise the monster made to be with you on your wedding night. While waiting for the wedding day you stocked up on many arms and other means to protect yourself. (set: $henryClerval to 1) [[The day of your marriage.]]As per your father's request, the two of you traveled back to Geneva together. During this travel, you often repeated your guilty admission to killing William, Justine, and Clerval. Your father was confused by this but you made no attempts to tell him. As the journey continued these rambling died out and although you still believed them, you became more outwardly calm. Along the way you received a letter from Elizabeth. Elizabeth writes that due to the horrible conditions you have experienced and the state of suffering you have been in for some time, she doesn't know whether you love her or not anymore. The next week you arrived in Geneva. Preparations immediately began for your marriage ceremony. You tried to conceal the fear which you felt upon remembering the monsters words that he will be with you on your wedding night. While waiting for the wedding day you stocked up on many arms and other means to protect yourself. [[The day of your marriage.]]The marriage ceremonies went smoothly and concluded with a party at your father's house. Elizabeth and you decided to take the scenic route down the river together. The moments floating down the river with your wife were the last happy ones you experienced. You and Elizabeth retreated to the house and prepared for the night. You knew that your death was nearing the longer you waited and your anxiety grew larger every minute passed. Elizabeth noticed that you are unsettled and asks you what is wrong. [[Tell Elizabeth that she should move to another room.]] [[Prepare for to meet the monster with her by your side.]]You tell Elizabeth that she will be safe but should sleep in another room, and she agrees to. You then begin waiting for the monster to spell your doom. You were prepared for a fight but it was doubtful that you would emerge victorious in such a conflict. You were pacing the hallway when you heard a scream of terror coming from the room of your wife. Realization hit you and you rushed to her room. Elizabeth lay dead on the couch, the mark of the murderer still on her neck. Tears fall down your face but your misery was interrupted when your eye glanced a figure grinning at you from out the window. You shot at it with your pistol but missed and a crowd gathered at the sound of the gun go off. After a search party unsuccessfully pursued the murderer you were once again overcome by despair. Those who you loved had been taken from you. The protection of the last of your friends compelled you to quickly go to Geneva. The familiar sights on travels could not bring you the same pleasure as they used to. When you arrive at your fathers house you find that both him and Ernest had lived but your father is deeply saddened about the news of Elizabeth's death. Sworn on revenge, your next step was to pursue the monster with the help of a magistrate. You told the magistrate your story, but he simply said it would be very difficult to continue on a pursuit of such a being. [[Pursue the monster by yourself.]]When you thought about it you realized you would like to be by your wife in your final moments. Elizabeth tried to calm you down in your worried state but you were too anxious. You paced around the room waiting for any sign of the monster nearby. Eventually one of the windows opened abruptly and a monstrous form crawled through the opening. You shot at the monster but it quickly moved out of the way. Elizabeth screamed as she beheld its form moving towards her. You then realized that it was not you that the monster was after, but your wife. This made you burn with anger and sparked you to fight back with all of your might. You shot at the monster again, this time hitting him, but it did not stop his pursuit of Elizabeth. You could not let Elizabeth die under any circumstances so you put yourself at risk to save her. You ran closer to the monster and shielded Elizabeth from his grasp. He then switched his target from Elizabeth to you and it did not take for him to wrap his hands around your neck. You could no longer reach the pistol on your belt and had no other means of escaping. As the life drained out of you your last sight was your Elizabeth's horrified face. [[The end. #6]]You left Geneva with the mindset that you were never to return to your hometown. The grief you felt turned to rage and despair that pushed you forward to find the murderer even when you felt like giving up. Your first clue to the location of the monster appeared one night out in the woods and told you that satisfied with your will to live. In this instance he once again eluded your grasp but for months after this encounter you continued your pursuit. You followed him by listening to the accounts of people in towns nearby and by following the marks the monster himself left for you. You continued on this trail through horrible conditions all the way up to the ice caps of the bleak northern landscape. You were able to acquire a dog sled which allowed you to progress further into the frozen ocean until you could not see anything around you but ice. For days, you had lost sight of your target until you spotted him far in the distance. You tried to follow him but thunderstorms hit which killed many of your dogs and you could not move any farther. You were certain you were going to die in the middle of the ice until a miracle occurred when you spotted a ship in the distance. Using the leftover bits of your sled as oars you paddled towards the vessel until it noticed you. [[Board the vessel.]]You meet the captain of this ship, a man named Robert Walton. This man showed great curiosity in your story so with nothing else to lose you told him everything that had happened to you and the countless horrors which had befallen you. The ship you had boarded was part of an exploration to find a way to the North Pacific Ocean through the pole. The desire for revenge within you was still burning, but your body could not fulfill its own desire. Each day you grew weaker and before long you could hardly get out of your bed on the ship. Walton told you of a mutiny because the crew wanted to turn around. You attempted to get the crew to change their minds but it was decided that the ship would turn back. With this, your last hopes of revenge became impossible to achieve you were too sick to move and the ship was turning around. You asked Walton to carry out the destruction of the monster but you doubt the young man would abandon what he loves to help a miserable man such as yourself. As you talk to Walton your thought became dry and speaking an impossible task. You eventually close your eyes and slowly drift off, leaving your pain behind. (if: $henryClerval is 1)[ [[The end. #4]] ] (else-if: $decisive is 1) [ [[The end. #9]] ] (else:) [ [[The end. #3]] ]''MARRY SHELLY ENDING'' You played the story as Marry Shelly intended. You could hardly call the creature you just gave life to a dog. As it got up on four legs its proportions were horribly stretched out, its fur patchy and uneven, and it's skin looked as if it was still dead. This horrible creature disgusted you so much that you decided the only reasonable thing to do would be to kill it. You take one of your instruments you had been previously using and render the dog-monster dead. All of your hard work gone in just the swing of your arm. However you were thankful you created this horrifying dog. Imagine what would have happened if you created a human?! But that will never happen because after you brought the dog to life you determined that you would never do something like that again. You spend the rest of your scientific life pursuing less ambitious (but still worthwhile) pursuits. [[The end. #2]]''HENRY CLERVAL ENDING'' You haven't heard from your dear friend in a while.''TWO MONSTERS ENDING'' And they all lived happily ever after?''HAPPY ENDING'' You and your creature became friends.''MONSTER DEATH ENDING'' The monster died.''DECISIVE ENDING'' You never even considered the monster's request.
